240 ml vanilla bean ice cream
240 ml cold apple cider or sparkling apple cider
Red apple slices for garnish
Cinnamon stick for garnish
Whole star anise for garnish
Cinnamon sugar for garnish
Instructions
Add vanilla bean ice cream to a tall glass, filling it approximately two-thirds full.
Gently pour chilled apple cider or sparkling cider over the ice cream. If using sparkling cider, pour slowly to control foaming.
Top with red apple slices, a cinnamon stick, and whole star anise.
Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the glass and float.
Present immediately and enjoy while cold.
Notes
For a more intense flavor, use homemade apple cider.
Adjust the amount of cinnamon sugar according to taste.
