A delightful and refreshing dessert made with creamy vanilla bean ice cream and fizzy apple cider, garnished with apple slices, cinnamon, and star anise.

Ingredients

  • 240 ml vanilla bean ice cream
  • 240 ml cold apple cider or sparkling apple cider
  • Red apple slices for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish
  • Whole star anise for garnish
  • Cinnamon sugar for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add vanilla bean ice cream to a tall glass, filling it approximately two-thirds full.
  2. Gently pour chilled apple cider or sparkling cider over the ice cream. If using sparkling cider, pour slowly to control foaming.
  3. Top with red apple slices, a cinnamon stick, and whole star anise.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the glass and float.
  5. Present immediately and enjoy while cold.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, use homemade apple cider.
  • Adjust the amount of cinnamon sugar according to taste.
