A refreshing and delicious summer salad combining fresh mozzarella, strawberries, and basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • 2 cups ripe strawberries (halved)
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ cup balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice strawberries into halves or quarters. Rinse and pat dry basil leaves.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced strawberries and mozzarella balls. Gently toss to mix.
  3. Add fresh basil leaves to the mixture, folding them in lightly.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze generously over the salad followed by olive oil.
  5. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to enhance flavors.
  6. Serve immediately on plates or in the mixing bowl for a casual feel.
