- 1½ cups mashed bananas (approx. 3 bananas)
- ½ cup nut butter
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease it.
- Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- Mix in nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- In another bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely before cutting.
Notes
- Store leftover bars in an airtight container.
- Bars can be frozen for longer storage.
