Beef Noodle Casserole is a hearty and comforting dish that combines ground beef, egg noodles, and creamy ingredients, topped with a crunchy breadcrumb layer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  5. Add the cooked egg noodles to the beef mixture and stir until the noodles are evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter, then sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
