  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 2 roma tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 jalapeño (seeded and diced, optional)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced, optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados: Slice them in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados: With a fork (or potato masher), mash the avocados until smooth but still a bit chunky.
  3. Add lime and salt: Pour in the lime juice and salt, mixing until everything is well combined.
  4. Mix in the veggies: Gently stir in the diced onion, cilantro, tomatoes, jalapeño (if you like it spicy), and garlic (if using).
  5. Taste and adjust: Give it a taste and add more salt or lime juice as needed.
