- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce (optional, for topping)
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
- Additional Thousand Island dressing for drizzling
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add chopped onions and sauté until soft. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, chopped pickles, salt, and pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread beef mixture evenly in the bottom of the dish. Drizzle with 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing and top with 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until tater tots are golden and the casserole is bubbly.
- Let rest 5 minutes. Top with shredded lettuce, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of Thousand Island.
- Serve warm and enjoy the Big Mac flavor in casserole form!
