- Blueberry Topping: 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 3 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- Crust Made With Graham Crackers: 6 tablespoons melted butter, 2 tablespoons white sugar, 1 1/2 cups finely crushed graham crackers
- Creamy Cheese Mixture: 16 ounces (2 packs) cream cheese, softened, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs
- In a small pot, mix blueberries with sugar. With the lid on, cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Let it cool and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to thicken.
- Turn oven to 350°F. Stir together graham crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into a greased baking dish (9×13 size).
- Blend softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one by one and finish by mixing in the vanilla. Pour it over the crust evenly.
- Lay two thick lines of chilled blueberry sauce along the pan lengthwise. Use a skewer or chopstick to swirl it gently without touching the crust.
- Place in oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until it sets in the center. Once out of the oven, cool thoroughly before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy blending.
- You can use either fresh or frozen blueberries for the topping.
- Let the bars cool completely before slicing for clean edges.
