  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel candies, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl using an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped caramel candies.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them out.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are slightly soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
