Cheeseburger Pie is a quick and tasty meal that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger into a pie form.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Pickles and additional cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Stir in the cooked beef mixture, ketchup, mustard, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pie is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. If desired, add pickles and additional cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
