A hearty and comforting soup that combines the rich flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a creamy bowl, perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: crumbled bacon, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the beef broth and diced potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Pour in the milk and Worcestershire sauce. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
