- 2 cans (15 oz each) sweet corn, drained
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers (for topping)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with sour cream, milk, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold in the drained sweet corn, ensuring it is thoroughly coated with the mixture.
- Transfer the corn mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Distribute the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the corn layer.
- In a small bowl, mix crushed buttery crackers with the melted butter until well-coated, then evenly sprinkle over the cheddar layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
