Ingredients
All-Purpose Flour: 3 cups
Granulated Sugar: ¼ cup
Instant Yeast: 2 teaspoons
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Milk: 1 cup (warm)
Unsalted Butter: ½ cup (melted, plus more for layering)
Eggs: 2 large (room temperature)
Chocolate Chips: 1 cup (semi-sweet or dark)
Brown Sugar: ¼ cup
Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
Instructions
Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl. Mix warm milk and eggs in another bowl, then combine with dry ingredients to form a dough.
Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar, chocolate chips, and cinnamon.
Roll tightly, cut into 12 pieces, twist, and place in a greased muffin tin.
Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
