  • Granulated Sugar: ¼ cup
  • Instant Yeast: 2 teaspoons
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Milk: 1 cup (warm)
  • Unsalted Butter: ½ cup (melted, plus more for layering)
  • Eggs: 2 large (room temperature)
  • Chocolate Chips: 1 cup (semi-sweet or dark)
  • Brown Sugar: ¼ cup
  • Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl. Mix warm milk and eggs in another bowl, then combine with dry ingredients to form a dough.
  2. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar, chocolate chips, and cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly, cut into 12 pieces, twist, and place in a greased muffin tin.
  6. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
