  • 1 batch of croissant dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup chocolate custard (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin with butter.
  2. Prepare the croissant dough by rolling it out and cutting it into triangles.
  3. Add a spoonful of chocolate custard at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up tightly.
  4. Arrange the rolled-up cruffins in the greased muffin tin.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
