Christmas Cheesecake Tacos are a festive dessert treat featuring creamy cheesecake filling inside crispy tortilla shells, decorated with holiday sprinkles and crushed candy canes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 Large flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 13 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Christmas sprinkles
  • 2 tablespoon crushed candy canes
  • 12 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (176 C). Turn the muffin tin upside down and set aside.
  2. Cut the tortillas with a 4 inch cookie cutter, about 3 circles per tortilla.
  3. Coat the cut circles with melted butter and arrange them in the prepared tin so that they take the shape of shells.
  4. Bake for 5-6 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned, then take them out to cool.
  5. Combine graham cracker crumbs, Christmas sprinkles, and crushed candy canes in a shallow bowl and set aside.
  6. Melt white chocolate using a double boiler or microwave and brush the cooled taco shells with it.
  7. Immediately coat the chocolate-brushed shells in the graham cracker mixture and place them on a baking sheet in the fridge to solidify.
  8. Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth, then add heavy whipping cream and beat until thickening.
  9. Transfer the filling to a piping bag and pipe into the taco shells.
  10. Sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles, crushed candy canes, and M&M’s.

Notes

  • Ensure not to overbake the tortilla shells to maintain their shape.
  • Be cautious when melting white chocolate as it can easily burn.
  • Let the chocolate coating solidify in the fridge to keep the shells crunchy.
