A comforting casserole featuring tender tortellini nestled in a rich beefy marinara sauce topped with gooey mozzarella.

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 20 oz Cheese-filled Tortellini
  • 24 oz Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Spinach (optional)
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Add the olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, introduce the ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Mix in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions, then fold them into the meat sauce.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, leveling it out, and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown.

Notes

Consider adding spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition and flavor. Assemble the dish a day in advance for convenience.
