  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to a sizzling 450°F (230°C).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold butter with a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  5. Add buttermilk and mix gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in crab meat and green onions carefully.
  7. Scoop dollops of the mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
  8. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Mix melted butter and lemon juice for the sauce.
  10. Drizzle the sauce over the warm biscuits and serve immediately.
