  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf or an 8×8-inch cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet mixture while alternating with milk.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
