This Creamy BBQ Steak Pasta is a quick and comforting dish featuring tender steak, rich BBQ sauce, and creamy goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into strips
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics: In your skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until they’re fragrant and slightly translucent.
  3. Brown the Steak: Add the steak strips to the skillet and cook until nicely browned on all sides. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  4. Make It Creamy: Stir in the BBQ sauce and heavy cream, mixing until it’s all combined well.
  5. Combine: Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet. Make sure everything is well coated.
  6. Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar on top and let it melt into that rich, creamy mix.
  7. Serve & Enjoy: Serve hot, and don’t forget to sprinkle some fresh parsley on top if you’re feeling fancy.

Notes

Ensure pasta is cooked al dente to avoid overcooking. Add veggies or switch the steak for chicken to customize.
