This creamy pasta combines savory sausage, a kick of buffalo sauce, and rich cheddar for a comforting dish that’s quick to make.

  • 8 ounces pasta (your choice!)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound sausage (Italian or chicken)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Toss in the sausage and cook until nicely browned.
  3. Pour in the buffalo sauce and stir to combine.
  4. Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream until well mixed.
  5. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted completely.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix well to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

The sauce thickens more as it cools, so don’t worry if it seems loose right after cooking. For extra spice, increase the amount of buffalo sauce.
