  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion, sautéing until it turns translucent and aromatic. Toss in the minced garlic and stir for another minute.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add the gnocchi directly into the pot, cooking them according to package instructions.
  4. Once the gnocchi are tender, stir in the shredded chicken, fresh spinach, and heavy cream.
  5. Season with dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for an additional five minutes.
