Ingredients
Scale
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp sour cream
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp Cajun seasoning (for sauce)
Pinch of paprika (for sauce)
Optional: a few dashes of hot sauce
Fresh parsley, for garnish (for sauce)
Instructions
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. In a bowl, toss them with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let rest for 5–10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and hot sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes per side, or until cooked through and crispy. Work in batches if needed.
Notes
Ensure the shrimp are completely dry before cooking for maximum crispiness.
Feel free to add more Cajun seasoning if you prefer a spicier kick.
