Deliciously crispy and flavorful Korean potato pancakes, perfect as a snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, grated
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Dipping sauce (soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil)

Instructions

  1. Combine the grated potatoes and onion in a large bowl.
  2. Add the flour, egg, salt, and pepper; stir until well blended.
  3. Heat about 1/4 inch of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Scoop a portion of the potato mixture into the pan, flattening it into a pancake shape.
  5. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the pancakes to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

To ensure crispiness, wring out excess moisture from the grated potatoes and onion before mixing.
