Experience crispy, cheesy, and tangy bites filled with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, perfectly paired with dill pickles for a delightful snack.

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses along with the chopped dill pickles in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Season this mixture generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Dip each ball into your beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
  5. Heat oil in your frying pan over medium heat, ensuring it’s hot enough.
  6. Fry the cheese balls in batches until golden brown on all sides, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

For added crunch, consider using panko breadcrumbs. You can also customize with jalapeños for heat or herbs for freshness.
