A delicious appetizer featuring crispy wonton wrappers filled with a creamy seafood mix.

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup cooked crab meat (or imitation crab)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tbsp green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil spray or melted butter (for crisping)
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Wonton Cups: Gently press wonton wrappers into a greased mini muffin tin. Spray with olive oil or brush with butter. Bake at 375°F for 7-8 minutes until golden.
  2. Make the Creamy Seafood Mix: Combine shrimp, crab, mozzarella, cream cheese, green onions, and garlic powder. Season well.
  3. Stuff and Top the Cups: Spoon the creamy seafood filling into each crispy wonton cup. Sprinkle a bit more mozzarella on top.
  4. Bake to Melty Goodness: Pop them back in the oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and browned.
  5. Garnish and Serve Hot: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overfill the wonton wrappers to prevent spilling while baking.
  • These poppers are best served fresh but can be reheated if needed.
  • Experiment with different seafood fillings according to preference.
