12 wonton wrappers
1/2 cup cooked shrimp (chopped)
1/2 cup cooked crab meat (or imitation crab)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese (softened)
1 tbsp green onions (chopped)
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Olive oil spray or melted butter (for crisping)
Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Prep the Wonton Cups: Gently press wonton wrappers into a greased mini muffin tin. Spray with olive oil or brush with butter. Bake at 375°F for 7-8 minutes until golden.
Make the Creamy Seafood Mix: Combine shrimp, crab, mozzarella, cream cheese, green onions, and garlic powder. Season well.
Stuff and Top the Cups: Spoon the creamy seafood filling into each crispy wonton cup. Sprinkle a bit more mozzarella on top.
Bake to Melty Goodness: Pop them back in the oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and browned.
Garnish and Serve Hot: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Make sure not to overfill the wonton wrappers to prevent spilling while baking.
These poppers are best served fresh but can be reheated if needed.
