Colorful and delightful Easter Cookies that are buttery soft and sweet, perfect for spring celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup colorful M&M’s
  • 1/2 cup pastel sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the M&M’s and sprinkles.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to racks.

Notes

Chill the dough for about 30 minutes for better shape retention while baking.
