  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 cup pastel-colored candies (M&Ms or sprinkles)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture turns smooth and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the fragrant vanilla extract, until everything is well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
  6. Gently fold in the colorful pastel candies, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
  7. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto your lined baking sheets, leaving ample space between each.
  8. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn lightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
