Delightful pears stuffed with blue cheese, walnuts, and honey, baked to perfection for a gourmet treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears
  • 4 ounces blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the pears in half lengthwise.
  3. Scoop out the core using a melon baller or spoon.
  4. Combine the blue cheese, chopped walnuts, honey, thyme, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper in a bowl, mixing gently.
  5. Stuff each pear half with the blue cheese mixture.
  6. Arrange the stuffed pears in a baking dish, sitting upright.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until tender and cheese melts slightly.
  8. Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.

Notes

Drizzle extra honey on top right before serving for added sweetness. You can make these ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.
