  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • Maple syrup or powdered sugar for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  2. Whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter in a separate bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into your bowl of dry ingredients and stir gently.

  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
