Ingredients
Scale
2 lbs top sirloin steak (or your preferred cut)
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
6–8 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (optional)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, rosemary, thyme, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.
Season the Steak: Generously season the top sirloin steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Ensure an even coating for optimal flavor.
Heat the Pan or Grill: If using a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. For grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high.
Sear the Steak: Place the steak onto the hot grill or skillet. Sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for your desired doneness.
Add Garlic Butter: During the last minute of cooking, top each side of the steak with a spoonful of garlic butter, allowing it to melt into the meat.
Rest the Steak: Once cooked to your preference, remove the steak from heat and cover it loosely. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes to ensure the juices redistribute.
Slice and Serve: After resting, slice the steak against the grain into thin strips to maximize tenderness. Serve with any remaining garlic butter drizzled over the top.
Enjoy Your Creation: Garnish with more fresh herbs if desired and enjoy the rich flavors of your Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak!
Notes
Adjust the herbs to your preference for flavor.
Letting the steak rest is crucial for juiciness.
For a spicier kick, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
