Ingredients
Scale
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 sandwich buns (brioche or ciabatta recommended)
4 leaves romaine lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
4 slices provolone or cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Brush chicken breasts with olive oil, then season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Grill for 6–7 minutes per side, until cooked through and juices run clear. Set aside to rest.
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic until well combined. Spread garlic butter on the insides of the sandwich buns.
Lightly toast buns on the grill until golden and fragrant.
Assemble sandwiches: place a grilled chicken breast on the bottom bun, top with cheese (if using), fresh lettuce, and tomato slices. Cover with the top bun.
Serve warm with fries, chips, or a crisp salad.
Notes
You can marinate the chicken with spices for extra flavor if desired.
