Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a quick and delicious dish made with tender pieces of steak coated in a savory garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds top sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to ensure they sear properly. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add half the steak cubes in a single layer without crowding.
  3. Sear the steak for 2 minutes per side until browned. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining steak.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add 3 tablespoons butter and the minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute, stirring to avoid burning.
  5. Return all the steak to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter and cook 1 more minute.
  6. Remove from heat. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet for optimal browning.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of garlic and red pepper flakes according to your taste.
  • This dish pairs well with rice or a fresh salad.
