Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak tips or sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 12 ounces rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak tips with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the steak tips from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, mixing well.
  7. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet, and stir to combine.
  8. Gradually add in the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until the cheeses have melted and the sauce is creamy.
  9. Return the steak tips to the skillet, combining well with the rigatoni and sauce.
  10. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat the steak tips through.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
