Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large round sourdough loaf
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare the bread: Cut the sourdough loaf in a crisscross pattern, creating cubes without cutting all the way through.
  3. Make the garlic herb butter: Mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the bread: Spread the garlic herb butter between the cuts, then fill with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake: Wrap the loaf in foil, bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for 10 more minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!
