Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using), mixing well to combine.
Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, cover, and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender but still bright green.
In a separate pot, heat the cooked rice if necessary.
To serve, place a generous scoop of rice in a bowl, top with the ground beef and broccoli mixture, and drizzle with sesame oil.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, consider adding chili flakes to the beef mixture.
This recipe can be made with any ground meat of your choice.
