Ingredients
Scale
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup powdered sugar
2/3 cup butter
4 ounces marshmallow creme
3 cups butterscotch chips
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups white chocolate chips
12 ounces sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup mini marshmallow bits, optional
Instructions
Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Spray generously with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
Make the Butterscotch Layer: In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the condensed milk, powdered sugar, butter, and marshmallow creme. Stir constantly until smooth.
Increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the butterscotch chips and vanilla extract. Stir until the chips are fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour the butterscotch mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing it into an even layer. Place the pan in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to set.
Make the White Chocolate Layer: In a clean saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter over medium heat. Cook and stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla and salt. Then, carefully pour it over the butterscotch fudge, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
If using, top with the marshmallow bits, pressing them gently into the top so they stick.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) before cutting into bite-sized squares. Enjoy!
Notes
Ensure the layers are fully set before adding the top layer for best results.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
