- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, and minced garlic.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Pour the honey mustard sauce over the chicken and coat evenly.
- Let the sauce simmer for 1 minute to start thickening.
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F internally.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Spoon extra sauce over the top and garnish with parsley if desired.
