Ingredients
Scale
1 large garlic bread loaf (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, to taste
¼ cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
If using frozen garlic bread, bake it according to the package instructions until it is slightly toasted but not fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from the oven and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of your garlic bread loaf.
Crumble the ricotta cheese evenly over the garlic bread, spreading it out to create a nice layer.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top of the ricotta.
Return the garlic bread pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Once the pizza is out of the oven, drizzle hot honey generously over the top, ensuring every slice gets a taste of that sweet heat.
Let it cool for a minute, then slice into pieces. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the level of red pepper flakes based on your heat preference.
For a homemade hot honey, simply mix honey with a splash of hot sauce.
This pizza can also be customized with additional toppings like pepperoni or vegetables if desired.
