Delightful and spicy twists filled with cream cheese and jalapenos, encased in flaky pastry. Perfect for game nights or gatherings!

  • 1 package Puff Pastry
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 medium Sliced Jalapenos
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Blend the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, jalapenos, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Cut the pastry into strips approximately 2 inches wide.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling on one half of each strip.
  6. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges tightly.
  7. Twist each strip into a spiral shape.
  8. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For a milder flavor, deseed the jalapenos or use different types of peppers. You can also prepare the filling in advance and store it in the fridge for up to two days.
