Ingredients
Scale
2 ½ cups mini marshmallows
1 bag (12 oz) white chocolate chips
1 ½ tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups fruit-flavored gummy candies, chopped into small pieces
Instructions
Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease the parchment paper with butter or non-stick spray.
Melt the Nougat Base: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the mini marshmallows, white chocolate chips, and butter. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
Add Vanilla and Jelly Candies: Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined. Gently fold in the chopped gummy candies, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
Spread the Mixture: Pour the nougat mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Press gently to smooth the top.
Chill and Set: Refrigerate the pan for at least 2 hours, or until the nougat is firm enough to slice.
Cut into Pieces: Lift the nougat out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into small squares or rectangles using a sharp knife.
Serve and Enjoy: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Ensure the gummy candies are chopped into small pieces for even distribution.
The nougat can be stored in an airtight container.
