Deliciously soft and chewy jumbo chocolate chip cookies filled with melty chocolate goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt together in another bowl.
  5. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Use room-temperature ingredients for best results. Don’t overmix the dough.
