  • 2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 8 oz Pasta (Fettuccine or Penne)
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Fresh Parsley for Garnish
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and let rest.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add lemon juice and heavy cream, stirring until incorporated. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Bring It All Together: Slice chicken and add it back to the skillet with cooked pasta. Toss until well-coated in the sauce.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and optional Parmesan.
