- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup cucumber, grated
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced

- In a bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, feta cheese, lemon juice, and minced garlic to make the tzatziki sauce.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Warm the pita breads on the grill for a minute on each side.
- Assemble the gyros by placing chicken in the pita, topping with tzatziki sauce, and garnishing with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Marinating the chicken longer enhances the flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Try adding lettuce or tomatoes for extra freshness.
