These Mint Oreo Truffles are a delicious treat combining the flavors of mint and chocolate, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 package Mint Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white or dark chocolate, melted (for coating)
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or chocolate drizzle for decoration

Instructions

  1. Using a food processor or a sealed bag and a rolling pin, crush the Mint Oreos into fine crumbs.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or spatula to combine until smooth.
  3. Roll the Oreo-cream cheese mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes to firm up the truffles.
  5. Melt your chocolate in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between. Add green food coloring to white chocolate for a festive look.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coating. Use a fork to lift the truffles and let excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Before the chocolate sets, decorate with crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or a drizzle of extra chocolate.
  8. Refrigerate the truffles again for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  9. Once the chocolate has set, enjoy your Mint Oreo Truffles! Serve chilled.
