No-Bake Orange Creamsicle Truffles are a delightful treat combining the creamy sweetness of white chocolate with the bright flavor of orange, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • ½ teaspoon orange extract
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Melt the White Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, add the white chocolate chips. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Pour the warm cream mixture over the white chocolate and let it sit for about a minute. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add Flavor and Chill: Stir in the orange zest, orange extract, vanilla extract, and salt. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm.
  3. Roll the Truffles: Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to scoop out portions of the truffle mixture. Roll each portion into smooth, bite-sized balls.
  4. Coat the Truffles: Roll each truffle in powdered sugar until fully coated. Optionally, roll them in shredded coconut or finely crushed graham crackers.
  5. Enjoy! Store them in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Ensure the chocolate is fully melted for a smooth mixture.
  • If the mixture is too soft to roll, chill it for a bit longer.
  • Experiment with different coatings like coconut or graham crackers for variety.
