Delicious hand pies filled with Vegan Nutella and bananas, decorated like mummies for a fun treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of ready roll puff pastry (Vegan & gluten-free)
  • 6 tablespoons of Vegan Nutella
  • 2 medium-sized bananas
  • 3 tablespoons of dairy-free milk (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons of caster/granulated sugar
  • 1 packet of dairy-free white chocolate buttons

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into rectangles (4×6 inches).
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of Vegan Nutella on half of each rectangle and layer thin banana slices on top.
  4. Fold over the pastry to create pockets and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Cut strips from leftover pastry for mummy bandages, placing them on top.
  6. Brush tops with dairy-free milk then bake on parchment-lined baking sheet for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Drizzle melted dairy-free white chocolate over the cooled pies to create mummy eyes.
