8 oz pasta (penne recommended)
1 lb steak (sirloin)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley for garnish
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked to your liking. Remove and let it rest.
Sauté the bell pepper, onion, and garlic in the same skillet for 3-4 minutes.
Pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
Combine the cooked pasta and sliced steak back into the skillet. Stir to combine.
Gradually mix in the cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
Garnish with fresh parsley, serve hot, and enjoy!
