  • 4 bone-in beef chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Whisk the marinade ingredients until well mixed.
  3. Coat each beef chop generously with the marinade.
  4. Let the chops marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Mix grated Parmesan cheese with a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl.
  7. Press one side of each chop into the Parmesan mixture for an even coating.
  8. Place the coated chops on a baking sheet, Parmesan side up.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
  10. Check that the internal temperature of the beef reaches 145°F (63°C).
  11. Let the chops rest for 5-10 minutes after baking.
  12. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley.
