Ingredients
Scale
1 flank steak
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Mix the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and balsamic vinegar.
Marinate the Steak: Place the flank steak in a dish or resealable bag, pour the marinade over it, and make sure it’s well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes—ideally overnight in the refrigerator.
Preheat Your Grill: Get your grill going to a high heat.
Remove Excess Marinade: Take the steak out of the marinade and let the excess drip off.
Grill the Steak: Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
Rest and Slice: Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle fresh herbs on top for serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Marinating overnight enhances the flavor and tenderness of the steak.
