A comforting casserole that captures the essence of the classic Philly cheesesteak with savory steak, sautéed veggies, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets (or cauliflower rice)
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the sliced steak, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned, about 4–5 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion, cooking until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked steak and veggies with cauliflower florets in a large mixing bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and top with shredded provolone and cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Great for meal prep; make ahead and store in the fridge or freeze before baking. Customize with your favorite vegetables or cheeses.
