Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sliders are a must-try breakfast dish featuring delicious sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese on soft Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls (or any soft slider buns)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 12 sausage patties (or 1 lb breakfast sausage, shaped into patties)
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (or 12 squares if using slider-size cheese)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook sausage patties over medium heat until fully cooked and browned. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together.
  4. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet and scramble eggs until just set. Remove from heat.
  5. Without separating the Hawaiian rolls, slice the entire block in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Layer scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom buns, then top with cooked sausage patties and slices of cheddar cheese.
  7. Place the top half of the buns over the cheese layer.
  8. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley. Brush over the tops of the rolls.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then uncover and bake another 5–7 minutes, until cheese is melty and tops are golden.
  10. Slice and serve warm!

Notes

  • For a spicier version, consider adding jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and refrigerated, then baked before serving.
